Poland takes over the rotating EU presidency on July 1. It happens after a six-month presidency of Hungary.
Polish presidency starts in a difficult moment for the European Union which has to face the challenges of economy and society. Polish program can be solution for all these problems. Poland can already count on the support of many European countries and institutions.
Regarding to the studies, Poland is also supported by polish society that is one of the most pro-European societies in the whole EU.
The aim for the next six months is to strengthen the European market integration that will stimulate the economic growth. Poland will also support further European integration and cooperation with neighboring countries what will guarantee the stabilization of the region in the south and in the east. Another target is to ensure energy, alimentary and military security in Europe. During the polish presidency there will also be an important discussion about the EU budget for 2014- 2020.
