Mechanical vehicles, especially buses, are one of the most exported Polish products.
In the first half of the 2009 Polish factories exported in total 2.151 buses. It presents an increase by more than 40% in comparison to the previous year. The results of the first and second quarter of this year shows that the global financial crisis did not concern the Polish export of buses. At the moment, the main export destination is Germany.
The leader in Polish bus export is MAN that sells mainly products to Germany. Just after it, there is Solaris Bus&Coach (18 countries in Europe and United Arab Emirates), Volvo (export to Norway and France) and Scania Bus Production Słupsk (Great Britain, Sweden and Denmark).
