Changes in VAT in Poland

From 1st January of 2011 the VAT rates changed in Poland. 

The increase of VAT rates by 1% was introduced by Supplementary Budget Law. The current rates are 23%, 8% and 5%.

There was also introduced 5% rate for food, books and specialist magazines.

These rates are valid for three years, that is till 31st December, 2013.
