Asseco Poland bought 85% of shares in the Spanish company Terminal Systems that specializes in designing and implementing informatics systems for transport companies. The value of the transaction is 3.95 million euro.
The company that hires 19 people offers, among others, ticket sale system, check-in system, self-service check-in software, ground personnel management software for airports and quality management systems.
Terminal Systems cooperates with companies from air sector (Iberia, AirEuropa, Vueling, Tap Portugal, Binter Canarias, Cubana de Aviación), also with rail transport companies (Renfe), road transport companies (Movelia), ferry operators (Tranmediterranea, Balearia) and tourism companies (Amadeus, Globalia).
In 2008 Terminal Systems made 2,2 million euro income and its operative profitability was established almost at the level of 40%.
The company’s purchase is a continuation of building the regional group Asseco South Western Europe that operates in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. The Asseco’s expansion already started in February 2009 when the entity acquired 55% of shares in the company Raxon Informatics SA with its headquarter in Madrid. Now, the company acts under the name of Asseco Spain SA.
